6:18 pm - An About
What's your favorite childhood memory?
Playing barbies with my sister during a thunderstorm where the power went out. We had a small checkerboard as a Barbie dancefloor and just had a really great time. :)

Scariest moment of your life?
Bridge-jumping into a river. :C will never do it again, either

One word that would best describe you?

What's your favorite number?
434, was the end of my middle school crush's phone number (-0434) and it's won me some raffles lol

What is the nicest thing anyone ever said to you?
I have a sexy voice

Which sitcom character do you relate to?
Seven of Nine: She lacks social skills but tries; she is logical but gets confused easily.

If you knew that this was your last day on earth, how would you spend it?
If I was dying, I would probably spend the whole day eating awesome food with all my friends.
If I was preparing for space travel, I would take a lot of pictures.

If you were granted three wishes, what would you ask for?
A personal chef for life, a magic book to write my dreams down every night, good health for my family and I

Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Same house, same job, maybe with kids, or living somewhere in Germany.

What would you do if you won the lottery?
First, I would take the whole lump sum, so I won't be fearful of being murdered all my life. Save it and quit work for as long as possible; possibly install a pool. Take more vacations out of the country.

What is the one thing you wish you could do if given the chance?
Teach a foreign language to high schoolers; it's pretty far out of the realm, but I always think I'd really enjoy it.

Do you believe that there is life beyond our planet?
Of course, I'm a trekky. There's got to be some Klingon out there.

Got a phobia you want to share?
Packaged foam: rubbed against eachother, totally disgusting.

What is the weirdest thing you've ever done?
I used to burn strands of my hair with a candle flame to watch it spiral up; I guess that's as weird as I get.

Do you believe that the end of the world is looming in this year 2012?
No, but I do believe that at some point humans will kill themselves off somehow, warfare and such.

What is your definition of an incredible weekend?
Friday: go out drinking and do karaoke in a small room where only my friends are
Saturday: take a bubble bath, eat pancakes; meet up with friends on an mmo and beat a big boss; collecting awesome goods as we go. Take a break for dinner, make a tollhouse cookie with ice cream for dessert, and do more gaming.
Sunday: get chores around the house done by 11 (make myself feel productive), go have gyros for lunch, buy some fabric and go for a bike ride. Finish day with glass of wine and bbq chicken; Jeremy plays with my hair <3.

Give us an idea of your hopes and dreams.
One day I want to: learn photography, write a song, publish a book of poetry, re-learn guitar, work with aircraft again, take interior design classes, get a bachelor's degree, fix up my parents house/buy them a nice tv, finish Chrono Trigger, cook better, learn more about psychology (of dreams especially), re-learn handwriting analysis, renovate a house...

What is the one thing you wish you could change in yourself?
I have a disconnect when I try to talk, I can't think of the word and I usually come up with some crazy description, e.g.
Knife: long, slicy thing
Bag: the thing you put things in

If you had to choose between world domination or world peace, which one would you pick?
I think world peace is impossible, things would probably turn out like some sick utopia, I believe people need to work for what they get: I'd have to choose world domination, although I don't know what I'd do once it was dominated.

Who or what inspires you?
I love looking at photography of trees, landscapes or beautiful architecture.

What is your favorite color and why?
Purple. It can be soothing, vibrant and royal, princessy, or classy. Just a good all-around color!

If you could live on any other planet, which one would it be?
I don't really know of other habitable planets, Earth will do for now.

How many places have you traveled to? Name them.
US: Lived in Connecticut for a year, and really enjoyed traveling around the east coast. The only parts of US I haven't really been to are California, Alaska, and the Southeast: Florida, Georiga, & Louisiana area. Canada, visited Calgary/Alberta area a few times. Also took our honeymoon in southern Germany & northern Italy: it was definitely amazing! Loved the food!

2: White, milk, or dark chocolate mocha? White choclate :)
3: If you could get a Sharpie tattoo on your back, what would it be? The spider logo for the band Cold
4: Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it? Grew up in a town/city of 50k, also lived in a town of 3k. The were both amazing; I loved playing in the parks, but I enjoy the bigger city shopping
5: Your favorite adult as a child? (and not your parents, if they were your favorite) I really admired one of the guys at my daycare who pushed me really high on the swings!

8: Most embarrassing moment from your middle school years? A 'feminine' pad got static clinged to my package of notebook paper. Oops; or maybe my impromptu speech about spanking in schools; just terrible! Or my shorts for gym class were just a bit too loose.. Screw middle school
9: Most embarrassing moment from your high school years? Always the awkward dead time before the bell rang at the end of the gym period where I'd have to wait around my ex-boyfriend who I still liked ;P
10: Pirates or ninjas? Why? Ninjas, because they have throwing stars!
11: Have you ever climbed a tree more than twenty feet off the ground? Maybe not 20, there was a really nice tree in Cut Bank to sit and stare at the skyline. I had a friend who told me a story about flying in the gym because they filled it with light air... and I'm pretty sure I believed him.
12: Did you like swinging as a child? Do you still get excited when you see a swing set? HOLY SMOKES YES. I live to swing, it makes me the happiest inside. [See "Happy Place"]
13: If you could have any pet in the world, illegal or not, what would you get? The cat I have, she is amazing and so cuddly. And talks to me, and kneeds my tummy and sleeps on my chest.
14: What's your most favorite part of your body? My nails used to be, but they've sort of died since I went on a less-milk diet, so I'll say that I love my eyes; they are blue/green with sunflowers :)
15: What's your most favorite part of your personality? My understandingness & loyalty
16: Madonna or Lady Gaga? Neither? Both? Who cares? Madonna, I used to love watching her music videos as a little girl.

20: Margarine or butter? Which did you grow up with? I eat Land of Lakes Spreadable butter now, it has 3 ingredients and tastes as good as margarine and spreads great! Ate margarine for the longest time before.
21: Whole, skim, 1%, or 2% milk? (Did you know they make 1 1/2% milk?) Skim now :)
22: Which continents have you been on? North America & Europe ^_^ Want to go visit Asia sometime though!
23: Do you get motion sickness? Any horror stories? Horrible motion sick at carnival rides now; I haven't thrown up in over 10 years though!

27: If you had to have a cow or a pig, which would you take? Why? A cow I guess so i can have milk? XD
28: If you had to look at one city skyline for the rest of your life, which would it be? Hong Kong looked so pretty when my hubby sent me pictures; Chicago is where I was born so I think it is very beautiful and homely :)
29: Longest plane ride you've ever been on? 14 hours to Amsterdam
30: The latest you've ever slept? After my all-nighter graduation party I think I slept in until 2pm

33: Favorite kind of bean? Kidney? Black? Pinto?  Baked beans? XD
34: How far can you throw a baseball? About one base to the other, I was pretty pathetic when we played softball
35: If you had to move to another country, where would you move? Germany; I really love the DOORS on the rooms in Germany XD They are so neat; they close flat against the jam. Their toilets also have a choice for "1" or "2" ;P
36: Have you ever eaten Ethiopian food? Vietnamese? Korean? Nepalese? How was it? Korean.... it wasn't my style, and too much probably would have made me sick
37: Small, liberal arts school or public university? Why? Small community college, your education is specific to obtaining job skills, not revolutionizing your thinking. Less thinking, more doing, less tuition.
38: A relationship with love or one with sex? Both? But ofc, love is amazing to have :)
39: Do you eat enough vegetables? no, it's hard for me to get more than 1 serving a day. I do like uncooked spinach, onions, garlic or peppers though :)

43: Coolest thing you've ever been for Halloween? I guess we'll all just have to see THIS year, because it will be cute!
44: If you could change your natural hair color, would you? To what? Been thinking about dying it darker on the inside, or purple tips, or streaks would be cool XD but I like my hair
45: Do you want to get married? Have kids? I'm married :) And kids is an unknown.
46: Do you use a reusable water bottle? If not, you should. I loveee my Camelbak water bottle  I have 3 of them!
47: City or nature person? I enjoy nature, but I'm so much more a city person. Nature and I don't always get along, but I like shopping and eating out and such :)
48: Have you ever used something other than "makeup" as makeup? (Like paint? Markers?) I used to use highlighters for my hair, if that counts?
49: Can you walk well in high heels? Even if you're a guy? no haha, but I have lots of heel shoes :)
50: Post 5 awesome things about yourself. BRAG AWAY!
1. PSD convert to HTML pro
2. I volunteer for in2books, CASA for kids, and other online things :) I'd rather work with people virtually ;P
3. I know Spanish and Chinese :)
4. I write a lot of poetry and really enjoy reading it
5. My go-to baking cookie is a Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookie (tollhouse!)

11:08 pm - Onwards weekend
Besides getting 7 gallons of paint for 1cent each XD I thought I would post this quote for reference later on~

"What a glorious mess we are" - Prince of Persia; maybe not the best movie ever, but that quote struck me well

Fun little images to add to a blog post? Not all that productive but kind of cute! Found this in my small inspiration to google 'online graphic design learning'. If only this all came naturally!

9:37 am - Love this quote
There comes a point in your life when you realize:

Who matters,
Who never did,
Who won't anymore...
And who always will.
So, don't worry about people from your past,
there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

10:28 pm - A nice weekend...
I guess I should fix the semi-official wedding date to the more official Sept 18th. We will be having our wedding at a train depot, very awesome inside!

We went and saw Alice in Wonderland in 3d yesterday, 3D movies are so awesome. We were able to see avatar as well in 3d at Christmas time.

I got to hang out with Brenda on Friday (miss her so much :)) and we went out to dinner at Famous Daves. It was so nice because our waitress gave us our drinks for free so it turned out to be a pretty effective dinner for the price :D

We bought some gardening stuff this weekend, the people who owned our house before had worked so hard on the garden in back, I hope we can get something growing. I'm going to have to try really hard!

This week is spring break-I'll be working M-W and then Thursday going to Spokane with my choir (Bridger Mountain Harmony) for an annual choir competition. It should be really fun, but I'm looking forward to it being over haha.

Job is going very well, our redesign for montana.edu came out in February, I am so pleased with it, and really enjoy the code work :D School is another matter, but its coming along okay. Pretty sure I won't be taking any further classes. Also doing a redesign for mtpha.com, but its not too fancy; I'm hoping she'll be able to work on it easier, of course I don't mind working on it, but I'd like to give her a good product that she should be able to use easily enough as well.

I feel a little lost for what new hobby I want to pursue. I keep wanting to game but not really feeling ambitious enough to sit down and play much. Of course, when I finally do, I've been playing Bioshock 2, and love it so much. I really love the old-time feel and music of the game, as well as turning everyone into shreads with my drill. Been mostly using up any free time with watching Alias. Really proud-almost done with Season 3!

I've discussed maybe joining the Habitat for Humanity group once we get some extra time (no school, etc) and I'm sure the painting will feel good, since I did so much of that growing up, painting has always been a good thinking time.

My goal for the new year was to be a better Chibi artist, but I don't think it's coming along too well, haha.

current mood: okay

10:57 am - Christmas
I haven't recapped in a long while!

Jeremy and I are engaged and our semi-official date is Aug 14! But we have yet to get the wedding goodies together and figure it out. Maybe after Christmas.

I got laid off from work in August due to the office closing. My first semester of heading back to school has been great; I finished finals this last Thursday and all seemed to go well. (Intro to CS and Business Applications). Job has been going great. There is a lot to dig my hands into but it definitely keeps me on my toes.

I am excited to see my best friends next week while I am home for Christmas. It will definitely be awesome! :D

Jeremy and I had our first party here at our house, the turnout was great and it was so much fun. I made some sugar cookies with Jeremy, Jake and Jason (lots of Js!) and took tons of picture. The gift exchange was awesome and all that good stuff. I can't wait to eat some bread stuffing for Christmas meals :D yay!

We bought our new house in November. The first one we were after fell through in August because of random family issues on the seller's part. This one is so lovely though, large open floor plan with a shop in back and garden for me.

We also got a black cat named Trix and she is super sweet and fun.

Hooray for 2009 ^_^

9:06 pm - Going home
Finally done in Connecticut and going home to Montana tomorrow!

Up-to-speed: I've worked in CT for months at a time since last July. I worked on Sikorsky's S-92 Upper & Lower Air Stair Door programs, and Oct-May worked on the CSAR-X bid, which has unfortunately removed from the DoD's budget. During this time Jeremy and I had been stuffed together and are now happily and somewhat-officially dating. :)

As of now, CDI is going through bumpy times, I'm not sure if I will have to be job searching soon, but I have been keeping an eye out at the job market. It isn't very great out there right now...

Still considering going to school for graphic design w/ a computer science minor. Not sure if it is going to happen, but it would be good to work on my little side passions.

I am down drinking skim milk and whole wheat bread! Hoping to get a little healthier as time goes along. Here's a shout out to the lovely weather at CT, and the crappy snow waiting for me back home..

current mood: sleepy

1:33 pm - Summer finally approaching
My two best friends have been sent away for work; I find myself wanting to detach from everyone around me now.

I finally got a mp3 player, thanks to the Jeremy's help. Its a Creative Zen, super cute and awesome.

I think I have discovered the best swings in Bozeman! They're at a nearby elementary school- I probably spent near an hour there just enjoying the sun here today. I hope the weather stays nice like this for now; and I really hope that when Chris comes back we can hang outside some more. I feel alive when I'm outside with him.

5:01 pm - Higs & Wops
Well its come to my attention via MapleStory's lame censor that "Higs" & "Wop" are evil terms, so upon further investigation, with help due to Encyclopedia Dramatica and google; these are my findings:

Wops - Negative slang for Italians; Also can stand for Without Papers i.e. illegal immigrant... etc.

Higs - Health improvement groups, a vitamin for lymph node cleaning and a key part of the not-so-coined phrase "Kosses & Higs" Unfortunately, none of these seem exceedingly evil, so I must draw my conclusions to a close and lead a life in wonder about why Higs is so censored.

Me: "My white snowman isn't very white."
Dad: "It must be Malato."

I made a snowman today, for the first time in years, and it was really fun! (Especially since it was 50F out! No frozen hands here!)

I got a job that I applied for in Bozeman, MT. And I start the first week of January. Here's to good luck finding the perfect apartment! The job is for Aerospace Drafting, a company called CDI, seems to have great benefits including some free schooling as well. The program I get to learn is called CATIA (V4 & V5) and I am so pumped to be learning something again soon!

Time to start the Christmas shopping and prepare early for Boxing Day (December 26th)!

It would be nice to go out and have lunch with Andrew... Except for the fact, he didn't understand that I meant to go before work started. (Sigh~) So I will sit here and type instead.

I turn 20 on the 29th (Oh most merciful Father.. why?) I am definately not looking forward to it. Speaking of this, I looked into dating/marriage laws (for the hell of it...) And I find funny, Nevada... "If you are under 16, marriage can be authorized only by court order when the request has been filed by either parent or legal guardian." I can't imagine 15 year-olds getting married >.<

On all positive things, my friend Red (a.k.a. ApacheRed) came home from Ireland this week, and I am excited to hang out with him again!

I've been somewhat looking for a job here in Great Falls again, I applied for one at the nearby hospital for graphic design... But sometimes, California looks interesting too.. As there are nice people there who I wouldn't mind being around. Maybe Red will go back to San Diego one day.

M.. And I realize my thought patterns have been severed from their original tracks. I'm not sure why I keep thinking crazy thoughts, but life is so boring that it keeps me entertained and happy to do so.

1:21 am - Music
I'm in love with foreign music, but at the moment.. I only know one. Ring Ring Ring by S.H.E; And supposedly its a big hit over somewhere. But the only info on the other two I have is:
1) ²¼À¸ñ¹ã³¡ by ²ÌÒÀÁÖ
2) Ò¹µÄµÚÆßÕ by ÖܽÜÂ×

And these are definately not any help in figuring out the names of the songs or artists >_> I'm kinda sad about it.

Xanga will be down today from 7 am - 2 pm EST, as we move our servers to a new network facility (we ran out of room in our old one). We're loading a few hundred servers onto a truck, driving them across the Hudson River, and reassembling them in New Jersey. We'll get the site up and running again as soon as we can!

Thanks for your patience,
